Nadia Bakir M.S., LMFT-ANadia uses a family systems lens in her work with clients, approaching individuals, couples, and families with sincere optimism and a belief in their inherent ability to solve their own problems. Her unconditional acceptance of clients encourages a safe and honest therapeutic environment in which clients can experience a deeper level of personal growth and renewed appreciation for their inherent potential.
She seeks to create a working alliance with each client, couple, or family, in which counseling goals can be mutually set and celebrated once they are achieved.
Nadia has co-authored a textbook on counseling Latino families and intends to collaborate on more literary work in the future. In her personal life she enjoys many activities that bring her laughter, especially those involving her husband, family, and friends.
